It’s hard to believe but it’s true: last week marked more than five years capturing key sessions at Campus Technology’s annual conference via Mediasite by Sonic Foundry.

A ton has changed in the world of educational technology in the last 5 years (smart classroom doesn’t even show up in Google’s world until 2008) and the Campus Technology agendas in the Mediasite catalogs testify to the massive shift.

We’ve moved from cyberspace to Web 2.0. From collaborative learning to social networking. From smart classroom to technology-enabled learning spaces, datacenter to cloud, digital to virtual. Cell phone programs are now mobile learning, coursecasting now lecture capture, and last but not least – from next gen to 21st century and back again.

The constants? Innovation, leadership, flexibility, student assessment and effectiveness.

For your browsing pleasure, a walk down Campus Technology Conference lane:

Campus Technology 2011 is July 25-28, 2011 again at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The crew at Sonic Foundry – and the Mediasite system – will see you there!

P.S. You’ll note the Mediasite Player has changed definitely with the times too. Perhaps the biggest difference? Embeddable players, like the one below.
